Newborn Puppies
Here at Hidaway Kennel all the litters are born in Heidi and Dennis' bedroom to ensure constant round the clock attention and care. At the age of 4 weeks the puppies are then moved into the kitchen where they are exposed to daily noises, such as vacuum cleaners, telephones, etc.
Raising Puppies
At the age of 6 weeks, the puppies are weaned from their mother and receive their first innoculations. From this age forward, the puppies are socialized by many people in order to ensure that a well adjusted puppy enters your home.
Between the ages of 8 and 12 weeks, the puppies are allowed to go to their loving new homes and begin their new lives.
