CH. Hidaway's No Batteries Req'd

Felix had a short, but very successful show career.

Felix was shown on a very limited basis by his breeder/owner to all of his single points. In that time Felix won multiple Best of Breeds from the classes.
Felix was then guided to his championship title under the expert care and conditioning of Luke and Diane Ehricht.

Felix now stands at stud with Hidaway Kennels to approved bitches.

Felix's show ring debut
This was Felix's first show. He was Winner's Dog and Best of Winners for his first point out of the puppy class under judge Dr. Steve Keating at the Packerland Kennel Club dog show in spring 2002.

Felix is a combination of two Canadian lines. Felix is by Tarzan, Can. CH. Burgundy Wee Tarzan, out of Rumor, Am. Can. CH. Durrer's Ringside Rumor (a CH. Durrer's Aces High daughter and CH. Rothby's Renegade granddaughter).
As shown in the pictures on this page, Felix has a wonderful 'baby doll' face, beautiful steel blue coat, and a rock solid topline.

Felix debuts with Luke Ehricht
Felix looks great with Luke as he wins his first 3 point major under judge Eugene Blake at the Lawrenceville Kennel Club show in the fall of 2002.

It is with great sadness. . .
that we tell of the sudden and unexpected passing of Felix.  Felix was Heidi's "heart dog".  That one special dog that you bond with immediately.  Felix was a joy to live with and will be sorely missed at Hidaway.

Felix finishes in six shows!
Previous to Felix going to Luke Ehricht he had never left home before, so we weren't sure how he would handle this big adjustment. It is apparent he adjusted quite well and finished quickly!

New Champion!
This is Felix finishing his championship title on October 13th, 2002 at the Mad River Kennel Club.
